    Any Flash guys on right now? Need some Flash MX help

    I got this template, mainly just to play with and learn flash by modifying it

    I got basic shit down, at least I thought I did until yesterday

    I am having the hardest time figuring out how to change an images hyperlink

    there are 4 images running across the top of the page, they are animated, and they are linked to index-1.html, index-2.html, etc

    I need to change those hyperlinks to myname.php, secondname.php, etc

    but I can't figure out where to change those links out at....I have clicked everything!!!!

    any help would be excellent

                              Step one make sure images are converted to symbols... (select image and press f8, name accordingly.)

                              Step 2 with symbol selected select actions, then browser/network, the geturl, and the fill in the appropriate blanks.

                                  they already have links on them, i just need to change the page the links go to

                                  this was a template from templatemonster

                                  I am looking around, i selected the symbol with the action window open and can't seem to find anywhere that shows me the exact url to change out

                                          your actions window should be split into 3 panes.. on the left there is an AS shortcut menu and below that a symbol explorer.. on the right should be your AS editing area where you type it etc. if there isn't two panes on the left you can click and drag the arrow at the top or bottom of it... look for the symbol explorer.. click on each one of those in succession until you find the getURL thats opening the htm files.

                                              It's in your action scripting window somewhere. You may have to double click on the actual button to open it as the URL may be embedded below your main timeline. Try double clicking the button, then open your action scripting dialog box and see if there isn't a URL in there somewhere.

                                                  oh.. and make sure all the explorer "trees" are opened with the + icon so you don't miss a symbol inside a symbol (the most likely reason you haven't seen anything by just clicking on things atm)
