White gold is just yellow gold mixed with Silver or Rhodium.

You can get them re-plated but eventually the yellow gold will come through as the silver rubs off.

wow that looks so different then any of the rings here in europe... not bad but I wouldnt give it... its kinda normal here to just give one ring thats both the engagement and weddingring, plus get the same for the guy as well, mine has swirls of diamonds as well, just like my gf's...
