It is about the same out here in lovely Suth Dakota. We hit about 3.29 at the high piont. It was a bitch filling up the Tahoe.

I filled up tonite at AUD$1.15 liter... so thats about AUD$5.00 gallon, or about US$3.75 or thereabouts.

MUCH cheaper than it has been here of late - up to AUD$1.40 liter.

price of crude has dropped more than 20% lately and good news all over about reserves (saudis) and deals (iran) will cut it further..

Youre right since elections take place in the fall after refiners switch from the more expensive summer blends and summer driving season is over so demand is lower.

We went down to $2.69 here at some stations, there are some stations still ripping people off charging $2.99 that are right across the street from the other station selling it cheaper... amazing that people will still pay .30 more per gallon at their normal spot..
