I've had some problems with it too. I upgraded Trillian today to 3.1 pro, to see if that would help. Not sure it has.- Free Premium Domain Lists and Tools at Clickmojo.com

my icq did not connect for about 3-4 hours today too. then tried with trillian, without success. after that icq worked again...Comment

Becuase Trillian has a better UI and also better history management. Add to that you can use it for your MSN AOL and Yahoo, and there is your answer.Originally posted by madawgz

Nope havent had an issue for months and month. Been using trillian only for 3 years or more now. Would never go back to msn yahoo aim and icq all running bah.Comment

I used the pro version of Trillian for over a year and finally gave up on it, I'm back to regular old ICQ. There are lots of known issues with Trillian and they are not working to fix them.

Trillian sucks. When it works it works fine. But when there is a bug it's a huge pain in the ass. I've been using gAim - it's open source/free, it's light, it connects to AOL/ICQ/MSN/Yahoo and more under one interface, has history, spell checker, etc. Took me a few days to get used to it and have not have any problems yet. It's been a year. Give it a go.Comment
