Yeppers ... one of the biggest states and the worst education. Baffles me ...
I lived in Vegas and once I had kids we had to move. The traffic and lifestyle was just too much to raise a family in. It's a personal choice and there are suburbs for any city to live in, however I think the cost of living compared to Austin would be a good factor to weigh.
