It really was great, the hippest temple in LA I think. And the dinner... as usual, the buffet was YUM and the dessert tables were YUMMIER!
I'm going to try on 'being' for awhile see how long it lasts LOL !

We are all over the place
I'm a Yom Kippur baby... My mother went in to labour as my father was going to shool on Kol Nidre and I popped out at 5.30 am Yom Kippur morning.
I came from an authodox, kosher home and can even make great boiled and fried gefilte fish and a mean chopped liver but these days I'm totally unauthodox.. I lost interest when my mother died in 98, I saw a lot that made me realise why there is anti semetism, even though when my father died back in 1976 I did the whole 11 months of twice a day and even then still went every Sat morning.. I found it too much and so have stopped going completely...
I have one question that I must ask the Jewish girls here... Do you swallow these days ? In the 70's a pal came over from NY to London with a T shirt saying "Jewish Girls Don't Swallow." As I'd given them up for shiksa's a few years before I'd forgotten.. Do Jewish girls swallow today..Comment
