I started listening to rap back in middle school. Run DMC, Beastie boys and so forth. In high school it was all about Ice T & NWA.
I like some of the new stuff but I still prefer the old school stuff. That's one reason that I always enjoy The Players Ball. Seeing acts like Too Short, Slick Rick, and soon to be Tone Loc bring back a lot of good memories.
