    What do you guys think... Does cheap pay attract the worst kind of employees?

              Like most things in life the answer is yes... and no... low pay typically gets you low skilled employees... but.. an energetic go getter can make up for that.. but then they move on to the higher pay once they gain the skills..

                              I would say it really depends on where you live and the stuff that your employees are already familiar with. Here I know I could hire some cheap college kids part time to push out galleries, se pages and stuff like that. But I'm not about to do that in a town of 5k people just because I don't need alot of public people here looking down on me for the type of work I do.

                                  Yes you pay peanuts you get monkeys. You get those who do not know better, do not want more and lack the skills or drive to get better.

                                  You can hire untrained and train them yourselves, but if you do not keep up with market rates you will lose them.

                                      Depends on alot of factors but overall probaly not because people value money differently. Employers are responsible for hiring the monkey.
