ok i'll repeat. Some time ago I contacted a EU agent that handles about 90% of the copyright music in that country and requested info regarding licesing songs for ringtones. I was informed i'll have to just pay them 10 to 12% of the net sales. Do that in other countries and you'll see much higher rates.
Licensing rights vary from country to country and yes mp3search.ru have their songs licensed in russia. Making a generic commment they are illegal isn't valid. Do a search regarding cross-bordering licensing and the legality-illegality of them and you'll find some interesting info and aspects. This operation has been up for 3 years or so with no problem, I would assume if they were doing such bad to let non-russians buy tracks they would have been gone for good. Maybe i'm wrong.Comment
