I don't even know if I'd have time to leave the airport to checkout the town, considering all the immigration/customs/lines/bullshit they make you go through these days

If you've got the time, I'd recommend a quick trip to "The Lodge". Probably one of the finest topless clubs in the Dallas area, or just about anywhere else for that matter.
