    Bad sleeping habits

Lately on an average day I wake up at noon and go to bed at 6am or 7am. I eat my breakfast at 1pm and dinner at 4am. I find it so much easier to work at night time without interuptions and I was blessed with a good sleeping skill of being able to hear the phone ring and being able to wake up, take the call, and go back to sleep. People think I am crazy. Anyone else have this simular habit?

I used to back when I was in my 20's. I have friends that have kept schedules like that for years.

my sleep is all fucked up .... we have office space right in the middle of where we all live ......... it's nice to be in the same room and brainstorm .... I get up about 8am right before my son goes to school .. i go to the office about 10am after taking my time getting out the door .... i work at the office till about 5-6pm ... come home eat hang with the family and then go back online about 9pm when everyone settles down ... most nights I'll stay on till 2-3 am ... it's starting to catch up with me 5 hours a night used to be good a few years ago but it's starting to hurt ... problem is that most of my traffic sales are at night ... because you west coast guys are working late ...

I used to do the same about 4 years ago for an entire year. It was productive at the time, but not anymore... now I just go to sleep at 11pm and wake up early, around 6:30-7 ("a normal person"). I can't pull all-nighters either. If I do it once - I will be tired with red eyes for the following 2 weeks. One night of no sleep can REALLY fuck up a whole 2 weeks (has something to do with the chronic dry eyes i supposedly suffer from ). Oh well, it's better this way anyhow as I stopped coding as much as I used to and actually have business to conduct when people are awake.

Sometimes I take a nap at 3 or 4pm and wake up at 10-12pm but it becomes very hard to wake up and I could end up sleeping throughout the night.

don't think I could do that. I have trouble just staying up all night even if do sleep during the day. But I get more work done from like 10-12 pm then I do from 12am-6pm.

There we go, 10:40pm and I'm already feeling the need to call it a night. But that's good, I guess, as it prepares me for a much healthier and productive day tomorrow. Also guarantees some good brain activity starting very early tomorrow beeeeeeeeeeed time
