Seriously, beauty is just what the media has taught society. Some big chicks (not too big) are damn hot and some really thin chicks are a big turn off for me. Everyones different.

The media plays a role no doubt. But I think genetics plays a much bigger role. It is really fascinating to see what men and women find attractive and why. I watched a discovery program on it recently and mostly they believe that we look for 'healthy' and 'fertile' partners as a result of our instincts, being obese generally doesn't fit into this category. But like you said, people do like different things, and so long as noone tries to force the fact that you must be attracted to fat women, who cares?

I have a problem though with the normalisation of 'fatness'. Obesity is becomming an epidemic, and when fat people (and I don't just mean anything above a size 8) get on TV and actively promote that being overweight is the 'right', 'normal' size I think it is wrong. Other than that though, I could care less what someone is into.
