Do you really live life

Do you ever sit back and think am i making the most out of my life, with death getting closer everyday, do you live life to the fullest.

I do sometimes, but some days i dont.

It makes you think when people like Steve Irwin die, he really lived life and i dont think would have regret anything.

I'd like to think i do, but probably am not. i am my own boss. everything I touch turns to gold for the most part, i spend time with the little ones...I'd say i'm pretty happy. But that wasn't your question...Question was Am i living life? i don't know. Do we ever really know?

There is no such thing as "really living life", because living life is just a state of mind. Therefore, you could have someone who sits in a chair all day and all night and feels completely happy, content, and like he/she is not missing out on a thing. You could also have someone that really "lives life", i.e. has lots of wild and zany adventures everyday and still feels incomplete and unhappy.

Living life? Hell I am still trying to find one in my size.

Life and myself have this love hate relationship. It tries to beat me down and kill me, I do my best to resist and find enjoyment even when in the most serious of pain. Though it temps me hard. I wake up in extreme pain, remain in pain through the day, and hug it as I fall asleep at night. Then life inserts its cruel kick in the junk and gives me a few hours of no pain, of which I am usually unconscious for. Though every so often I can wake up and steal a little of that time away from life and lay without movement in bed and feel like I ruled the world due to not feeling any pain. It never lasts for more than a few minutes though.

I try and make sure I enjoy everything I do. I often find this a disadvantage as well though as I would pay others to have my job, so I often under price myself. I am close to the relatives that matter, I have a significant other that I really love and that loves me. I can say I suppose I do.

When I was sixteen I decided I had to live my life to the fullest and that's exactly what I did. I left home, got deported from Canada, arrested in NYC, joined the US Marines, blew stuff up for a few years, married a stripper who liked girls, moved to California, worked at a night club, managed 200 employees at the phone company, moved to Phoenix and started a porn company, got married again, and ended up working for Playboy. I have my sports car, my motorcycle, and I'm thinking about buying a boat next spring.

And I haven't even gotten started yet.

Yes, I'm writing a book.

At this age, I could say I already have several regrets in my life. It's just that I still find myself lucky since I made more better decisions than bad ones.
