Anything is possible Colin - the human species can be unpredictable - but when ya read total admissions by an alleged perp wasting his time babbling on tape for some strange reason and purportedly claiming to be responsible for the 9/11 attacks - is the time I'd prefer to see actual evidence instead of alleged quotes.
It would also be interesting to see who is actually responsible for issuing the words of bin Laden who was obviously very helpful with his quote: "I was the most optimistic of them all due to my experience in this field, I was thinking that the fire from the gas in the plane would melt the iron structure of the building and collapse the area where the plane hit and all the floors above it only."
bin Laden appears to have become a very unprofessional terrorist personality with a mouth that can't stop talking - a strange behaviour, almost boasting.
Any "perp" who also has the amazing stupidity to implicate another of his associates by name into a crime, has a lot to learn. Somehow I'd credit bin Laden with having passed Terrorism 101 and with 10 gold stars for the section on security of terrorist cells.
This quote is in total constrast to the degree of professionalism shown in all other activity in which he was purportedly involved - not just in "terrorist" activity, but in playing a role on behalf of the US in Afghanistan against the Russian invasion.
Very strange no person seems to be able to capture this very unprofessional terrorist.
