I think all of my favorites have already been named. I think Carlito's Way is great.

Mobsters isn't bad, although it's definitely not in the same class as the others.

its an asian series.... but with english subtitles.. i'm not asian and it was still one of my favourite movies....

"Thief" -- (with James Caan, Michael Mann directed -- who also directed "Heat")

"Mean Streets" -- (very early Scorsese/Deniro collaboration)

"Snatch" -- (by Guy Ritchie, who also made Lock, Stock...")

"Amores Perros" -- (about the Mexican mob, Tarantino-esque style -- subtitles, or dubbed)

"Badlands" -- (very early Martin Sheen & Sissy Spacek, directed by Terrence Mallick -- GREAT film)

"Romeo is Bleeding" -- (Gary Oldman fingers the mob and gets a hot and totally psycho hit-woman on his ass)

"King of New York" -- (Chris Walken is a badass NY drug lord)

"State of Grace" -- (Sean Penn, Gary Oldman, Ed Harris -- Irish mob in Hell's Kitchen)

"The Pope of Greenwhich Village" -- (Mickey Rourke, Eric Roberts at their unintelligible hoodlum best)

These are all good, I'd say.
