I used to go to "boogies" all around the Southeast, Unitarian retreats like SUUSI and SWIM and the Body Electric school. They're very similar to Burning Man and have the same spirit of relaxation and retreat from "the world".
What Hal's talking about is so difficult to describe. You really have to experience it to appreciate it. But once you've been there, you'll never stop going back.
Sure there's beautiful people there and sure, there's some amazing sex too. But that's not what it's about and not at all the spirit of the gathering.
