What I will say however is that Arizona State/Michigan question is a tough one, as I grew up in Michigan and went to ASU. I'd have to pick ASU though cuz all my friends/family back home would be ribbing me.

I'm wondering what you think about Phillip Rivers. Is he going to be legit enough to make San Diego a potential playoff team in a fairly tough division?
I know that L.T. running in the backfield takes some strain off of him, but teams will stick an 8-man front until Rivers can prove that he can complete a pass downfield.
Personally, I would like to see them win the Superbowl just to stick it to Eli Manning for not wanting to goto that team. No rookie player should be able to tell a team what he is going to do or not do. It is apparent that the NFL didn't want him to be in the same division as his brother. The potential draw is greater for a Manning vs. Manning Superbowl.

That is great question that will get an entire 10 million people from New York ticked off at you. It could happen, but only if the wide receivers can step up and help Rivers, Gates and LT move the ball. NY seems to have a lot of peices in place, and if were for how tough their divsion was, everyone would be talking about them.
As far as Eli, a great comment came from his big brother, Peyton a few weeks ago, who said he stands on the sidelines and laughs at other qb's when Dwight Freeney is hauling them down, but wasn't sure how he felt knowing it's his little brother. I think Eli and Peyton are going to find out
