Has anyone slept on a Sleep Number - Select Comfort bed?

Radisson is starting to put them in all their rooms. Just wondered if anyone has tried them out, I want one!

They are ok for a low end air bed.

The bed we have now is just a cheap firm spring mattress and I can't sleep on it anymore, it kills me! I sleep on the couch every night. I like the couch because it's super fluffy and forms around me, I don't get pressure point pain and tend to stay in the same position all night (wish is strange for me, normally I move constantly). If I sleep in the bed I can't hardly move in the morning. My back will be out, hip pain, shoulder pain, arm is asleep, etc. I need something super fluffy.

You need a memory foam matress then and not an air matress.

Are the memory foam ones hypoallergenic? I guess I could always put a cover on the mattress but I would think those would collect dust mites like crazy.

Yes they are, and they also come with machine washable covers.

By the way Tempur-Pedic makes just about the best, but do make use of their in home trial to make damn sure you like it. Most people can not tell if they really like a matress untill they have slept on it for a few nights at least.

I have a Tempur-Pedic fully adjustable bed (like the craftmatic but mine vibrates too )

                LOL

Simply the greatest investment I've ever made to be comfortable

I personally think that a super comfortable bed is worth a lot of money. You spend about 1/3 of your life in bed so why not spend the extra money to wake up well rested and pain free. *sigh* I can't wait for a new bed.

My 15" queen with foundation cost around 3400.00 The king with foundation was about 3700.00 (not enough room for that in my house though).

It is available in several inch types ranging from 8"-15". With and without the foundation. So figure 1600.00 to 3700.00
