you think he was doing it solely for the intention of providing entertainment and receiving ratings?
wrong. entertainment and ratings were a pre-requisite of accomplishing his ultimate goal of wildlife conservation.
he would not have been able to raise millions of dollars and make the changes he made without performing in the manner he did. the ratings opened doors that would have otherwise been closed if he had been yet another boring "safe" wildlife commentator.
