    If you were gonna get the word out what would you do ?

    If you were me and wanted to let everyone know we are paying out $105 a join on cams.com and giving away massive cash prizes and a Ferrari plus paying out crazy bonus on our multi site bonus. What would you do on gfy to get the most bang for the buck say your spending $5K to run contest buy some ad space or whatever ??

    wouold you run a contest, buy sigs, stir up drama, buy a skin or a flash ad, or pay people to infiltrate GFY world Headquarters tie up Eric and use his special abilityes to market the shit outta things.

    What kewl ideas can you come up with

                                                                                          Well if you really want to engrain the promotion into people's heads then its better to use imagery because the brain thinks in pictures and not text or words.

                                                                                          Language is just a system of representation and thus very difficult to retain a message. For example what does $105 represent to someone? Yet this is the main selling point of the promo. Is it the $105 you are promoting or is it something else?

                                                                                          The $105 is not important because it means nothing. What must be addressed is what the $105 represents. This is what you want to get across to people.

                                                                                          An example of this can be seen in a court case when scientific information and statistics can overwelm a jury and render any support you have for your case useless. Hence an effective strategy is to create an image of the data you have to convey to people.

                                                                                          What is more effective? Saying that someone is irrefutably guilty because dna evidence suggests that 1/1000th of 1/2 of a percent of people on the planet carry his dna which was also found at the crime scene or saying that it would take the equvalent of 10 solar systems with life on it such as earth before you would find someone with the same dna profile of the accused?

                                                                                          Thus i would suggest making a contest thread and making people post pictures of what $105 can buy them...eg. x number of beer cases, x number of dvds, a day away from work...etc...
                                                                                          By doing this you will engrain the $105 as an image and these images will carry emotion and meaning to them so people will know what they are working for, hence better motivation.

                                                                                                      2.a) If 2 falls out, then run a contest with another 1k with some traditional sort of photochopping of cams.com or AFF...I could imagine some pretty fun 'cam girl' chop or AFF dating gone-wrong contests...

                                                                                                      3) Do something never done before on this site, not that I recall...be the first to run a 'video compilation' chopping contest...ie provide a few camgirl clips and see who can come up with the funniest chops or most interesting video trailer if they have skills....you win on this one as this places has some pretty creative mofos if you provide the mojo for them getting their flow on...

                                                                                                                                                                                                      i think a skin would be the best thing to do and some stickys and banner impressions on all the other important boards (all at the same time) for 1 or 2 weeks. that would be a big exposure and enough.
