No lap dances. It's a burlesque show, not a strip tease. I haven't seen this year's show and most of the performers are unknowns, but if it's anything like their last shows, then there will be nudity.

if you have never been to a strip tease/burlesque show before, you would probably enjoy it, but if you are into that scene and have been to that type of show before, then you will be let down in a big way. plus, as a pornographer supporting anything that has to do with suicide girls is like a small town farmer only shopping at walmart

I didn't there was much a difference other then burlesque shows being more choregraphed than your what typical strippers do!

there is a huge difference...costumes, dancing, music, etc....

strippers just get up there and shake their ass for money, burlesque dancers spend weeks just choreographing one routine

depends on what that particular performance calls for...majority of the time they will get topless with pasties on

and I have never seen a burlesque show where they bring men on stage

Not necessarily. It varies from one show to another. Some burlesque shows may have no nudity and just lingerie. Some might have topless dancers. Some topless dancers might have pasties. And some might get nude.

A burlesque show is very different from a strip tease. Yes, they both involve scantily clad women and dancing, but the similarities stop there. Kinda like McD's and Bifteck. They both server burgers, but there's a difference, you know?

There might be some audience involvement, but it's usually stuff like putting a feather boa around a guys neck, or offering a piece of chocolate to someone. You're not gonna see girls spread eagle, thrusting their pelvis towards the crowd or licking their nipples.
