    Yo! LA Sheriffs blasted holes through a neighborhood!

    I'm watchin' the news and they said LA Sheriffs responded to a report of gunshots south of LA and some dude in a van supposedly led them on a small chase and 10 deputies opened fire on this dude! He was hit 4 times, his van looked like swiss cheese and then they showed the bullet holes in people's houses!!! Dude who got shot was unarmed and there's VIDEO!!

    I don't know what's more stupid? Let's pick one from the following:

    1.) Dude did not stop when Sheriffs showed up and said STOP.

    2.) Sherrifs opened fire from 10 deputies at ONE suspect who couldn't move as he was boxed in.

    3.) 10 Sheriffs firing at less than 10 or 20 feet and the suspect, not moving was only hit four times.

    4.) 10 Sheriffs deputies not aiming properly enough that neighbor's homes were peppered with bullet holes.

    5.) They let someone video tape the entire thing!

    I dunno, you pick one or ad one...

              on the news they said 90-95 shots were fired into the vehicle.... and the guy only had 4 bullet wounds AND one cop got shot by another cop.

                  I know, I know, the van had a FORCE FIELD that deflected them bullets.

                      I just saw the clip on the news again and saw it was in a black neighborhood and dude was black.

                                              ABC showed the chase and the driver was waving and smiling at passersby while cop cars behind him were running lights AND sirens.

                                              What part of STOP did he not gather from all that?

                                              He didn't stop when ordered, he precipitated the following disaster. There's no excuse for that much firepower and indeed the car WAS stopped when the shooting began. So here we have a comedy of errors and two men wounded.

                                                                      the numbers speak for themselves, 10 trained professionals, 90-95 rounds fired, only 4 hits and one cop hit by friendly fire. what is it i am supposed to know enough about? when police shoot... they shoot to kill! period! that is the same policy and training everywhere. each cop is trying to shoot the driver to kill him. i would say they did a pretty piss poor job of it and put more people in harms way than the driver ever could have... or did you think that bullets all have parachutes and float safely to the ground after 100 feet?

                                                                                              It's literally the talk of Hollywood. Everywhere people are talking about it! They're terrified that riots will break out again. I wasn't here when the Rodney King Riots broke out but people STILL talk about it in sheer terror!

                                                                                              The cops had better settle this now because it's obvious it's overkill and unprofessional. They're saying it's a misunderstanding and they thought the driver was backing up over a cop, then the shooting started and one cop slipped on the ground and they thought the driver shot him and hence all the follow up shots. 100+ bullets in all.

                                                                                              As I said earlier, if he'd stopped it wouldn't have lead to this but there's a whole lotta responsibility to go around. They had better explain how them bullets went through the neighbor's walls and windows!

                                                                                              The investigation and lawsuits are going to be astronomical.

                                                                                                                                      The amount of money it's going to cost the city and state to investigate, then the money the union is going to have to gear up for to protect their members, then the cost of legals just to cover insurance for the city, county, state is gonna be awful.

                                                                                                                                      Then we go on to the criminal and civil charges. I doubt highly the cops will be charged criminally. Even when they're caught on video tape, it's historically proven that cops in California will get off especially if it's a black guy they've beaten the crap out of.

                                                                                                                                      The civil charges however are gonna be astronomical. Each cop is gonna get charged as well as the dept, city, state.

                                                                                                                                      By default the suspect is gonna walk away one awesomely wealthy man. Not to mention the residents who are suffering psychological trauma they can sue for.

                                                                                                                                      Lawyers are flyin' in from who knows where to represent the people involved. This shit is gonna go on for an eon and the only way they're gonna get out of it is if the suspect claims God told him not to press charges. That takes care of alot of legal shit BUT it's gonna be the Dept. of Justice's civil rights division that's really gonna pour on the steam.

                                                                                                                                      California has a rotten reputation with black people and with summer coming up I wouldn't want to be caught on the wrong side of town after this shit starts simmerin'.

                                                                                                                                                              look dipshit. although i appreciate your creativity and boldness in pulling statistics and "facts" out of your ass and then procliaming their validity... i would like to point out that no one was shooting at these cops.

                                                                                                                                                              and regardless, the fact remains that i am not a police officer. i am not trained to use lethal force. and what i can or cannot do after running for a block is completely fucking irrelevent since no one is trusting me not to spray their neighborhood down with bullets, shoot unarmed people and shoot fellow police officers because i got excited.

                                                                                                                                                              its not like neighborhoods give cops guns and say "hey, dont worry if you get excited and try to execute an unarmed guy and just start shooting shit up and even hit innocent bystanders or your own friends... its ok. we understand. we are all human"
