I know what you're saying. I just think some companies go overboard with the rewards, promos, and bonuses. There is one very popular sponsor that constantly has some new gimmick going on. Fact is that their stuff converts for shit these days and it doesn't matter what I can win, if I don't make money with them, I stop promoting them. The same will happen to the little guy who signs up and ends up not making any money. This same company puts little to no money into their sites, content, or promotional materials.

So you are right as long as it doesn't effect the product. Nothing I hate more than a contest to win a rolex or something when the sponsor is still using banners from 1999.

Oh, and to answer the question on promoting your program. If it makes me more money than another program, I would promote it. I don't care about board personalities and so on. If a company makes me money, pays me on time, I'll push them my traffic.
