If the domain infringes a famous, registered, and distinctive trademark it is not a good idea. You can lose everything in a lawsuit.

The penalty under the anti-cybersquatting act of 1999 can be up to $100,000 per domain name. You may also have to pay opposing attorney fees, and you may also have to disgorge profits. Your own attorney fees may top $50k.
