A few of the same links and same basic table structure. Oh yeah both have circles in the logo. Seriously though it is different enough that even if he looked at your design while making his it would not really matter.
Sucks and all but fuck its a tgp design and its different. Not to mention his appears to be a working one while yours is just a design.

That site is actually live if you type the url into your browser.

Still, its nothing a DMCA letter to his host wont fix

honestly, it looks just like he referenced yours while creating his....lots of same elements, but i wouldn't consider it theft of a design by far

ok opps. still it is changed quite a bit. Sure bash him for ripping the layout and stealing the idea if you wish, problem would be though that it is changed enough.
The DMCA would be ungrounded though.

The DMCA would be enough purely on the text links he has in the site on his portfolio which are an exact duplicate of ours.

Not to mention a good 90% of his HTML code also.

Speaking about the layout - that's not my fault.

Our client asked for the same for himself and just couldn't stand the idea of having another one. He really loved your layout. what did I have to do then?

And about the links - that's probably my fault. Ill remove them ASAP or even remove the whole work from the folio.

in defense of European Lee, I gotta say whoever thinks design is the key for conversion instead of sales pitchs, text, and its placement in the layout, really REALLY needs a reality check. That's why they asked this guy to copy the layout, because the one asking for it knows its business better than 99% of this board. Yes, fucking html, and so what? Even my kids know how to use Photoshop, knowing about marketing, conversions, sales and stuff like that is a very different story, and it makes the difference between boys and men (or ladies like European Lee, just in case)
