You have no rebuttal. You just say the name Dan Rather in a smartass way, whose only crime was in focusing attention on the fact that Bush went AWOL during vietnam.
You can make any excuse you want regarding the fact that Clinton presided over a very prosperous economy. The fact is he did, and Bush has fucked it up, and that's that.
And the main reason we didn't get the hostages back with Carter is because Reagan-Bush were in contact with the hostage takers and worked out a deal not to release them until Ronnie stepped into office.
