i would say a good number, maybe around the 10-20% mark.
You fucking retard surfer, i told you to stop posting in my threads. Fuck off you moron. You know shit about shit. Fucking idiot. Fuck you piss me off.
I'd reckon very significant amount of rebills are actually people who forgot to cancel. Maybe 25% or so, at least.
Hell, I know how rebilling works and I still forget to cancel stuff. I've had NetZero charging my Paypal account $9.95 every month for a year for a dial-up service I needed for 2 weeks.
A ton, I never cancel anything until I flip credit cards a year later. And Franck, you can't choose who posts in your public thread. Go start your own forum and invite yourself so nobody pisses you off.
not sure about adult but my experience was about 10-15% in the mainstream area. I usually step up and cancel their subscription myself when I see this happening. Call me a fool but I always felt I was stealing money if I am aware of it and they are not.
And I think that's the main reason why we get very big chargebacks. The guy figures out he's been paying for a paysite for the last 6 months without really knowing and decide to chargeback.
My 60% wans't for all joins combined. Example:
100 members join.
90 cancel before trial ends
10 members left and from them atleast 6 forgot to cancel their membership at one pont or antother. Maybe not the first month, could aswell be very happy with the site and at one point think that its been enough and that they should cancel the membership.... and forget for another 2 months or so.

That being said, a webmaster I know who used to run his own small solo girl paysite has one user who he got nearly 4 years worth of rebills out of without the guy ever revisiting the site after he joined up.
I've had a rebill going since February of '03. It's got to be someone who forgot. I think the number would be really high- especially for the first one to three months.
Says alot about the billing model this industry relies on. Imagine that visa would change the rules tomorrow: every member has to confirm their membership monthly by clicking some button...

That would never happen. It would knock out a significant amount of their mainsteam revenue. Cable bills, subscriptions etc.
I've trusted my sites to them for over a decade...
Big percentage of the rebillers forgets, or doesn't know how, or is driven around in circles untill the company explains to them how to cancle. Good 60% i would say.
I have been watching for that and right now with last months rebills 5% did not login to the site for that month, The other 95 had at least one time, I don't have 1000's of members either and if i did it would take a lot of time to figure it out

WTF kind of sites, and programs do you run?!?!!? Sheesh. I've never heard of, or have seen anything REMOTELY fucking close to any of these numbers in the better part of a DECADE in this business.
If this comes from your experience in this busienss, my thoughts are to go find another line of work. To the surfers in this thread, keep hitting the pipe.
