That's a simple fan, and the trick is to use a brand new deck of cards. Virtually all magicians use "bicycle brand" because of the coating on them.
I use to go through 60 decks a month when I was actively practicing / competing.
Cards that are used more than a few times start to get dust and grit between them, and the coating on them starts to wear, and many flourishes become impossible/difficult to do. |
