I got where I am by working day and night on my photography and going almost broke learning, buying gear and equipment. I look at every set and every vid I shoot, go through each image and every vid . . . think about what I could do to make it better . when I'm not shooting I'm driving around s. cal. looking for locations or hanging out at the vendors chatting with shooters, looking at gear and asking questions or looking at photography on line . . my fav shooter' or I hang out at dpreview . . then I go to the sites I shoot for everyday and look at all the other shooters and think about what I could do to be better. I don't drink or use drugs or watch TV.
I work and shoot and think about photography . .. this is what I've done everyday since I decided I wanted to shoot nudes and picked up my first a camera in 1998. I resolve every issue with all my clients that can be resolved and never blow anything off . . . there ya have it . . not much to it really when ya stop and think about it . . 'shooters shoot' . . if I can't shoot the stuff for the client, I tell them who can.
only now after working about 80-100 hrs a week for the last 8 years am I looking to other creative areas . . now you know why I have absolute NO tolerance for shit photography . . shooting nudes is an honor, shooting women is a privilege . . I shoot headshots, cars, baby pics . . . anything and everything can. I shoot for money and I shoot for fun . . now I ask you, how hard is that?
