[COSTA RICA] best beach place ?

    Hi,
Can't stand anymore living in San Jose, need to move on the coast.
    What's the best place for a webmaster ( internet lines, rentings ... ) ?

    PS: Don't like Jaco !

Any webmasters near Puerto Viejo or Guanacaste here ?

Weather is not that great here in San Pedro.
It's not a great city life (restaurants, bars ...) and far away from beaches, so don't find a lot of interest here.
I'm already bored after 6 months here !

The only good thing at the beach is the water. Other than that, it also may get kind of dull. I live in SJ for like 16 years and I loved it.

Besides, I'm not sure how it is now, but last time I checked broadband was a hard thing to come by in the coast, like these other guys say.

im currently in negotiations to buy a cafe on the beach at Dominical.

around that area you can get microwave(which i havent looked at much), or ISDN (double-dialup)

but really you have to be inland to get a highspeed.

this thread is interesting - i wanna now who is down that way
and specifically is anyone else near Dominical?

Well, the story is that Quepos is wired for high speed, but it doesn't appear to actually be availble yet. Tamarindo and Coco are supposed to be wired next, but who knows. You can talk to 5 different people at Amnet and get 5 different answers.
