Those are extreme examples at best. You think the US health care system doesn't make fuckups too? No instances of incompetance there? Please.
That's the exeption, not the rule here. I'm sure it is there as well.
I bet you've had plenty of family members interact with the health care system here in the past 30+ years who have been treated just fine as well. I know I have. I can think of dozens of relatives and friends and family members, and their family members even, who have had all sorts of surgeries and treatments done here. The "fuckups" and bad stories are rare.
I've had 4 surgeries in my life. I have nothing but good things to say about the care I received in all instances.
