Exactly.
Believe me, I've seen posts on the web by Americans who were "slapped with $100k+ bills" from their hospital who were completely caught with their pants down and have had to pay pay pay. I'm sure a few of them are still paying off those bills to this day.
My only point on this is that it doesn't happen here. No matter the treatment they don't send you a bill. Ever.

Your level of quality care you recieve isn't superior to that of ours. Every Canadian city has hospitals that are as good and equipped as any in the world.
