yes they do raise it, at least NY-NJ area, you get hit behind - your insurance goes up regardless.
I had my car damaged/headlight system stolen 4 times within 1-1.5 year period, wasn't driving, wasn't even at the scene during those accidents happen with my car, from 2.4k annually full coverage went up to 14k/year. was I at fault that damn headlights were hot items on black market?
