    Choker gallery traffic test.. wasn't so great.

    I bought 25k gallery traffic.

    25k to gallery
    21, 980 clicked through to sponsor
    1 sale

    well, not so great numbers wise, but the amount of payout on that one sale was more than the cost of the 25k traffic, so, can't complain,, made a profit at least.. now maybe I should try a different sponsor with that traffic.

                              well, can't really complain,, overall I suppose it was a good investment.

                              I paid $25, made one sale, earned $125 on that sale, so made a profit of $100






                              I was hoping for 10+ sales, but oh well.. maybe next time I'll use it on something less promoted.

                                                                                                                          I have always assumed that traffic for sale is generally not worth buying - if it was any good it would be used by the owner. Otherwise, the owner figures they can sell it for more than it can earn with it.

                                                                                                                          Is there an exception to this notion?

It would make more sense to ask, 'why don't car manufacturers sell directly to the consumer rather than car dealers' - that's more in line with my question.

                                                                                                                                  In the case of car manufacturers, setting up retail infrastructure involves significant investment, whereas with web biz, anyone who generates/builds traffic can easily route that traffic to their own monetization programs, using the same infrastucture.

                                                                                                                                  My question was not intended to challenge any particular traffic broker (as you have intimated with your response).

I had to make my own gallery though. How did you get away with using a PussyCash FHG? One of the Choker rules is that the gallery must have at least 15 pics, all the FHG's I checked have less than that, that's why I made my own..

That and my galleries never seem to be listed... i really can't see what's wrong with them.

                                                                                                                                                              The gallery is messy with different sized thumbs scattered all over the place.

                                                                                                                                                              The links are deceiving, they don't even look like links, there's no call to action.

                                                                                                                                                              The big pics aren't optimized, they are all over 130kb wich is insane.

                                                                                                                                                              Be glad you didn't get listed cause you would only burn bandwidth without any sale.
