I've finally decided to make the transition from film slr to digital. Trying to decide which dslr to buy.
Local camera stores have the following dslrs. (Prices in aussie dollars. Lowest to highest)
Pentax *istds - $999 (body only)
Olympus e300 - $1499 (kit), I like the feel of this camera and value for money, but was put off a bit by dpreview.com's review (noise past iso 400 and images not as crisp as other dslrs).
Canon 350d - $1749 (kit)
Nikon D70s - $1999 (kit)
Canon 20D - $2499 (body only)
What camera should I buy? I'll mainly be using the camera as a hobby.
The olympus seems the best value with it's 8mp and low price.
What do you think? any other dslr's I should be considering?
