Here goes:

1) I've built several launch ramps, one quarter pipe and two half pipes. I also built a couple ollie boxes and miscellaneous things.

2) Honestly, I never broke any decks. I was pretty smooth back then and never really landed hard enough to crack a deck.

3) I used to be a big fan of Caballero's board... that is until I got sponsored. When I did, I used the company's decks and trucks. I can't remember the wheels, but I think they were slimeballs (although I can't guarantee it).

4) I was never arrested but did my fair share of running. All the good spots seemed to be on private property so we'd have to sneak under gates or over fences to do our thing... that, or just skate late at night.

5) My most serious injury from skating happened at a contest. In between the different groups, they would have what was called "Free Skate" where everyone just skates until the next group starts up. Well, I was getting ready to slide the handrail they had there and the dude in front of me fell and didn't get his board in time so when I landed, his board came up and smashed me on my knee. I went to the hospital and it was sprained and I was on crutches for maybe a week. Even afterwards, it took a while to fully heal. That shit hurt like you can't imagine.

6) I was sponsored, but still an amateur because I was never paid. I was just given free gear like decks, trucks, clothes, accessories, etc...

7) The raddest trick... that's a tough one. I remember doing frontside rail slides down handrails. That's when they were first hot and not many people were doing them frontside. I also had some pretty sweet style on the launch ramp. I remember being able to do different 360 airs (like judo or madonna's).

8) I could never do an Ollie Impossible.

9) Back in the day, yeah... skating ruled my life big time. I invested a good part of my younger life involved in the whole lifestyle of it. Those were some of the best times I ever had.

10) No I do not still skate. I would still love to, but I'm way too heavy and just not fluid enough to do it. If I had to, I could probably still get on a board and bust an ollie kickflip, but it would be sketchy as hell and there's no guarantee that I'd land it.
