Try giving the guy REAL help. 99% of us are not buying Mac so get over it. I find it ironic that Mac users are the same ones that buy XBOXes because they are supposedly so great. Same thing goes for FireFox users.
According to your logic, I shouldn't buy a Ford GT if I think Escorts suck.
NOT THE SAME PRODUCT, regardless of manufacturer.
FYI: I have an xbox, Playstation 2, and Gamecube. I don't play any of them, but I have them.
Not flawed. I hear "IE sucks because MS can't make a good product" Then come to find out they own an XBOX. Well? I mean if MS can't make a simple webrowser or OS then how in the fuck can XBOX be so great.
Aplle had it's chance and blew it. Wanted to keep it's OS to itself and MS took advantage of that. Bill Gates had the vision and Jobs was too egotistical and selfish to a fault. Maybe Apple's OS is better, but why should I have to buy a SPECIFIC computer just to get it?
Well it says game is NOT compatiable with MacIntosh computers. which was my point.
Anyways WTF you never heard of POGO? Ever bought a game from EA? Same company.
I'm not much of a gamer. As I said before, I own 3 gaming systems and never play them. They're in my house for my son to play and for others who like games.
I'm just braggin' because I have a better, more reliable computer.
Wrong again Don. Both PC and Mac are the same when it comes to reliability and features. If you REALLY want to get down to it a PC has tons more features because you can actually upgrade it with pretty much anything.
Try buying Ram, Video and Sound for a mac at any store you walk into. God luck.. Can't be done. Has to be Mac compatible and most retailers don;t bother stocking components that only 1% of the population even gives two shits about.
Try installing apps to better and play/tweak your system.. good luck, nobody bothers to port shit over to mac.
Try installing 6 hard drives, a few optical drives and a bunch of fans and lights in a mac... quite difficult.
Drop a mac... see if it still works.
Try upgrading the case of a mac to something to accomodate more hardware or for asthetics reasons. Good luck. You're stuck paying an arm and a leg for a simple case that has room for maybe one more drive and looks like Mickey Mouse designed it as a Valentines gift for Minnie Mouse.
You own a proprietary piece of computing equipment that may suit YOUR needs but you saying it's better and more reliable when you probably have no clue about powerusing a computer is like a kid running around at Quake boards saying his music is better than everyone elses.
get off your fucking high horse. It's just a fucking computer you have no clue how to use to it's full potential.
I'm not much of a gamer. As I said before, I own 3 gaming systems and never play them. They're in my house for my son to play and for others who like games.
My point is that there's a lot of thing that you can't do with a Mac there are a lot of programs that don't work with Mac.
You remind me of when my mother owned a Geo Metro back in the ealry 90's. Sure low price, great on gas. Good luck finding parts for it. And they cost 3 times as much as they would in any other car. $18 for an air filter? Fucking 13 inch tires and they cost more than 16 inch tires. What a fuckign bargin that car turn out to be.
I didn't look at it this time. I've looked at it before and it just looked like a bunch of shit to me that I didn't understand. I'll take a look at it next time this pops up and copy it to notepad. It doesn't happen everytime I restart but has been happening more and more lately.
Well without seeing the error report data and without knowing your hardware -- it's though to say what's causing the issue.
I've heard reports of HP printers (the KB article posted) causing the issue. I've heard reports of spyware/malware/virii causing the issue. I've heard reports of a specific NAV update that causes the issue. Etc. Etc.
May want to check your system for spyware using additional tools. Run full virus scans using an addional AV program. If you have NAV you may want to try uninstalling it and rebooting you system before reinstalling it.
If you haven't run Windows Update in awhile I'd recommend that as well.
Next time you get the msgbox post the report data -- it'll make things much easier.
