Cams.com members ratio question.

i think mine averages about 1:90-100 on free to paid....overall tho the #'s add up nice. Most of the traffic i send them is not filtered etc its just put a cams iframe here or a banner text there when i just need to fill up a spot with something other than creampie. And cams makes nice money off that traffic

I did the same thing throwing up an iframe banner and got about 60 frees on the revshare program and have yet to ever make a dime off of any of them. I do make some money on the per signup with them though considering they payout so high.

paid ratio from free members is ~ 1/117
free members ratio from uniques is ~ 1/14
uniques ratio from raws is ~ 1/2.25

So, we get 1 paying member from:

117 free members / 1638 uniques / 3685 raws

Traffic source : mostly typin cam traffic

i think it would be great if they added a program to give payouts on free signups and then on paid on a ratio based setup for the actual money customers.

right now they require no credit card or anything on their free signups, its just a simple email and name thing and then you can just sit in any of a few hundred different camgirls rooms for practically forever and jerk off which seems to be what most of these guys do.

My free to sale ratio has changed over time, with the old backend, before the merge it was 1:45

Several months PPS, 3152 frees 32 sales = 1:98

August 2006 PPS, 249 frees 1 sale =1:249

Several months PCT, 308 frees 150 sales = can't calculate accurate ratio as stats don't show individual usernames anymore

Forgot to add the stats I posted is from the PPS... also tried the "Percentage Program", but stopped after a few hundred free members with not a single purchase....

I only promote them thru my cobrand site on the percentage payout

Raw to free = 1:74
Raw to Paid = 1:113
Unique to Free = 1:19
Unique to Paid = 1:29

I never really paid that much attention to but when I looked my unique to paid is 1:743 thats not really very good I don't think.

Thats on pay per signup. On revshare I sent nearly 32,000 uniques and made 0$!

Damn! Why are you making so much from free members?? I'm lucky to get a few cents for each free member at AFF...

No idea. They recur pretty good, I assume that's the main reason.
