Question: Lets say I have gun in the house....

I have a ccw and a gun so i learned in gun class that if he breaks into your house and is inside when you shoot him that you are fine. Now his family can still try to sue you but it wont get far with a good lawyer

in the US i think 30 rounds is excessive force.......seeing as how most handguns only have 10 rounds you'd have to shoot him 10 times reload shoot another 10 times reload....again....and shoot 10 more.

a burst of 3 to the chest would be seen as self defense but 30 is a little much

just get a 12 gauge double barrel shotgun

Depends on what state you live in.

I'm sure you've heard the stories about how the burglar breaks into a house, slips on a kids skateboard, injures himself, and then sues the homeowner for his injuries........AND WINS!!!!!!!

The question you pose, depense solely on where you live..

Here in Nevada, you would have no problem, he entered your home, you were in fear for your life, case closed, as long as you don't shoot him outside and drag him in, or shoot him in the back as he is trying to get out..

In New York, I know you guys have some pretty fucked up gun laws, but I would think it would probably be the same, just make sure the gun is registered to you, and you have a license to have the gun, or they could hit you with other charges that could add up to more jail time, than by just shooting the fucker on the street...

I've heard HORROR stories about the legal system.

I heard one guy fell and broke his neck while climbing through someone's window, sued him and won a multi-million dollar judgement.

As much as I blame the criminals, it's the lawyers that have truly fucked up the legal system.

go get a high powered rechargeable cordless NAIL GUN...

You can unload on a muthafucka with no worries. Unless he didn't cross the threshhold of your door or then you'll still be fucked.

I think the only way you could go outside and shoot him is if he's taking a baseball bat to your car or something.
