lose that shoddy gradient bg, a small logo is fine, id just do a circle/ censored symbol say black over a red one.. . and the name in a decent font, should do the trick.. .

You know it's really not that bad -- I mean, the site will function well.
For doing this -- Our eyes get trained to look for signs of cost and equate that to effectiveness. But surfers will pour through some ugly site looking for a free pic or vid longer because he thinks it belongs to some lonely jerker like himself.

With that name, a nice detailed banner or page header with censored lables that they have on CD's, DVD's and etc. pasted all around in black and white with the main page looking like one of those news stand tabloids...
