I'm not a US resident, so SkypeIn is awesome! Where else can I get a US/UK/Polish/Japanese/Australian/French/German/Swiss/Chinese/Brazilian phone # for less than $40 a year WITH voicemail AND the ability to forward that number to my cellphone in The Bahamas or access that number wherever internet access is available?
Bear in mind that calls to the US are $.40 a minute from The Bahamas and higher to anywhere else. With SkypeOUT, calls to phonelines are 100% free to the US and Canada and only $.03 a minute to Japan, the UK and other major countries.
The long distance savings, phone number, text chat, conference/skypecast, call forwarding and chat-to-SMS (cellphone) features makes Skype a better business communication choice, in my opinion.
But then again, my opinion may be jaded. Click on the SKYPE ad in my sig if ya don't believe me
