First time I took my ex to a range she made me look like a total newb. I had my .357 Ruger that I usually fire 38s out of well but the .357 loads I always flinch too much. She was steady as shit so don't be surprised if the lady outguns ya.

Some advise, I saw Glock mentioned, think about teaching a beginner with a handgun that has an actual "safety"

Making on-off a seperate step will reinforce safe operation.
