                                                                                                        People get so worked up about their drugs, especially alcohol and cocaine and will make there judgements on whether to hang out with people based on whether they do or do not do the "right" ones.

                                                                                                        Personally, I care how a person is, how they behave, how they do business, how they treat their friends, that sort of thing. I don't accept people excusing bad behavior with drug use, but I would also never discount my opinion of someone for drug use which doesn't cause problems with the way they interact with me.

                                                                                                        I don't ask someone whether or not they eat their veggies before I decide whether I want to do business with them or be friends with them. Vegetables are good for you and people who don't do them are damaging their health, but that really has no impact on their interactions with me.

The general American perception of coke is that you'll be sucking dick in a matter of months. A good friend of mine is English and snorts the occasional line. When he goes back to the UK, he does it like a madman. I wouldn't be TOO concerned about it if I were you, but I would stop doing it when you're by yourself.
