perhaps.

but, what makes the images work is the "edgy" style.

the background, garish lighting, color palette of objects "works" with the look of the girls. lots of thought processes went into the creation of these images.

so i'm commenting on the artistic decision. IMO it is superb and makes the photos noticeable. so much of porn is cookie cutter and banal---created by people with zero imagination.

a different vision of anything, a different style beautifully done (as this is) stands out. the surfers notice it, they click on it. it is GOOD business.

and aesthetics aside, that is the most important critera in the BUSINESS of creating erotica to sell.

the artistic decision is usually formed within the imagination of the shooter. post production does help, but it is the many creative production decisions about these images that make them work IMO.

wish more shooters took visual chances and began to think outside the box.

as long as "porn" has a negative stigma it will attract mostly mediocre talented producers.

as "porn" becomes more mainstream it begins to attract the attention of real artists---and the trend will continue as "porn" gradually loses it's stigma.

these images are a step in that direction. they are in a different league to 95% of the shit we see here.
