You know what they should do is have everyone that is going to fly do a pre flight ( like days or weeks before) sign in of some sort. Like if you pre submit for a background check or something as an opt in. Those that do the pre submit and verify they are not involved in anything shady get a special card with like fingerprint id on it, and make it have a untamperable chip on it. Any passenger that has that card gets sped along through customs and security. You couldnt force it of course, but for those that know they are doing nothing wrong could have like a quick pass. Im sure some people would say that would be giving up freedom of privacy, but frankly those with nothing to hide would rather do that then waste time every trip. Make the card good for 2 years or something. Innocent people would line up to do it for sure.
