Just got back from Vegas and Utah. I was outta there before they officially opened up shop (i believe the doors opened last night at midnight). My parents will be able to check it out today before they fly out.
I have an invite to stay at the Wynn in may with some friends, but can't make the trip
It's hard as hell to get a room there, which makes missing this trip even lamer

Saw shots Wynn on the news, nice... and they said there's an expansion about half the cost of what's there now on the way.
What's crazy is the casino industry on the gulf coast. When the proposition allowing them was passed they were thinking boats and barges (all casinos on the coast have to be over the water). Little did they know how big and disquised a boat or barge can be

Initially i had heard that Steve Wynn planned to spend 5 billion on the new venture. He spent 1 billion building the Bellagio (this includes everything- decorating, artwork, the whole kit-and-kaboodle) so i can only imagine the level the Wynn must be at, ringing in at a cool 2.7 billion.Originally posted by Minte
