change the names of the original files and than upload the image from www.*******.com as the same image names as the hotlinked ones

Sounds like your host provider needs to be aware of the problem. Maybe the changes you're making are being inappropriately overridden.

I had this problem a few years ago when I was with JFPDude.I believe he ended up blocking the IP'S of the worst ones at the router.

remove the gallery add

ErrorDocument 404 http://www.atkkingdom

or what the full url with your linking code

to .htaccess in your main dir

see if the sales roll in

Do not remove the gallery or change the image files at all! You'll end up blacklisted at all the TGPS!

Put something like this in a .htaccess file and upload it

Chinese hotlink traffic sucks and even more thier forums hotlinkers ..
I got some of this fucking traffic hotlinking some pics from my sites...
The worst thing in it that even after you enable the hotlink protection the server need to send the 404 response and it result in overloading.

Which is exactly the reason we blocked the IP's at the router.
