    Just came back from the shrink , told him I have had enough of this shit...

    Wheening of the Paxil over next few weeks ,

    Already wheened of the Xanax to 1/2 of what I was taking

                                                  Honestly I think the approach you are taking is the wrong one.

                                                  The intentions are right but these are the things I would do first before going off the meds.

                                                  Develop a very very consistent exercise regimen. I would say that whatever it is you create you need to be following it to the T for 6 months at the least and more realistically 1 full year.

                                                  Your diet needs to be clean and healthy. Think of the old adage you are what you eat. Eat shit all the time and.....you get the idea. Again this is a very difficult thing to change and I would advise you to be clean and healthy for a long time.

                                                  As others have said you need to cut out smoking and drinking coffee. You need to drink water all day long. No soda or other bullshit. Drink water water and then some more water.

                                                  I could go on and on but this is a good start.

                                                      I got switched from effexor to lexipro.
                                                      As soon as I got itchy as fuck and began breaking out in acne I went off.

                                                          Xanax however is a highly addictive anti-anxiety med that can do more harm than good..Glad to hear you getting off that. Good luck

                                                                                      good stuff. i guess some people need them but i refuse to take the shit. some doctor said i had generalized anxiety disorder and perscribed me ativan but i never even filled the perscription. i don't want that crutch. i just took a look at what was triggering the anxiety, dealt with it and now im fine.

Your body will crave the old meds and will not only be thrown into shock, but probably reject your new clean approach.

                                                                                                                      I had some anxiety issues before and still deal with it today from time to time. It's a battle many of us deal with and can be very hard. One of the best steps I made was to become active, work out, and use my energy for other things. Get to the gym and knock the shit out of a punching bag for a half hour and you'll be completely refreshed when you get home.

                                                                                                                                                                              My doctor switched me to Zoloft ( best for baby) but I stopped taking it all.

                                                                                                                                                                              No Xanax sucks bigtime, when I could atke it, I only took 1/.25 Mg a day.

                                                                                                                                                                              Glad your slowly goping off Paxil, I don't think many people could handle the side effects, when just stopping.

                                                                                                                                                                              Good Luck, Anxiety sucks....but can be handled in different ways, it's all hard work reguardless.
