1. South Africa has never been a wealthy country - you're more than welcome to check the GDP per capita and how it progressed, it is the biggest economy in Africa (although there're couple of African countries with higher GDP per capita)
though. Since the blacks took over SA's economy has done really well - stable growth close to 5% and they're aiming at 6% - will it be achieved or not we can only see in time.

2. The "wealthy country" you're talking about had 96% of the population living in extreme poverty, the black government had built more than 2 million houses for poor people since they took over, and a "black" middle class has emerged which definitely is a step in the right direction.

3. South Africa has one of the most progressive constitutions in the World, if I'm not mistaken gay/lesbian marriages will be legal by the end of the year too.

The black government does not see the high crime rate as a big problem and that IMO is absolute stupidity, 58 people die in Iraq every day, 51 get killed in South Africa every day, the conflict b/n Israel - Lebanon took 1000 lives in 30 days, meanwhile 1500 people got killed in South Africa during the same period.

I think that the human life is the most precious thing on this planet, the South African black government doesn't give a flying fuck that about 200 000 people have been slaughtered since 1996, the most despicable crimes happen in this country every day, babies getting raped and killed, criminals torturing people for their money, gang-rapes, three-four days ago a man was arrested with human brains and lungs in his bag - these are the so called 'mutty' killings where they kill people and use their body parts as medicine (very rare but they should not be happening at all - it is 2006 after all, not 2000 before Christ).

Why does it happen? Because the government does nothing - that's why. They're trying to justify this with the wide spread poverty, but there're at least that many poor people in China and yet the violent crime there is 100 times lower - because if you kill in China it is very likely;y that you will be setenced to death and executed and that is the way it should be!!!!

I have seen quite a few people dying from Aids - people I had known and people I had worked with, all of them are black!! Does that mean that a white man can not get AIDS? Hell no, but white people in South Africa are as well informed and educated as in Europe for example, the know what the risks are, how to protect themselves, and what possible treatments are out there, they also have the means to buy antiretrovirals if they have to.

Black people on the other hand (the vast majority) are poor(er), have little or no education, and a lot of them believe in their traditional healers - fact that the traditional healers can use to enrich themselves.


The government and AIDS - the South African health minister is a the most stupid woman in the World which IMO should be jailed for not preventing THOUSANDS of AIDS related deaths. Many African countries have managed to contain the spread of AIDS and are making real progress, but not South Africa, over here the mortality rate of women ages b/n 20-40 years have doubled in the pst 10 years - all that thanks to the dangerously STUPID South African government policy - they claim that nutrition is the key for figting AIDS, the idiot that calls herself a healt minister tells the South African people that if you have AIDS you should eat garlic, onion, and beetroot - CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS????????? I have no problem with people being stupid, I have a HUGE problem when STUPID people directly or indirectly cause thousands of deaths.
