As a nurse I have watched many die from AIDs caused by HIV, watching people die from AIDs was my job for 5 years. I topped up my degree with a masters in Microbiology so I could understand what I was watching.
Anyone who is qualified to have an opinion that says HIV dosnt cause AIDs has an agenda. Its actually pathetic that anyone who knows anything about AIDs would say anything so ridiculous.

Think you mentioned this before Damian? You worked for the THT?
Got a UK Doc here who works with us (nothing to do with medicine) - he specialised in tropical medicine and spent a few years in Africa dealing with aids patients - hard to miss them, depending on the location.
Other thing... which I think is amazing, people who have been blind for most of their lives - he used to do a lot of eye surgery and remove crap and let them see for the first time in years. Simple operation and costs nada, but sure has an impact on an individual
